I was born in 1980 in Ostrow, Poland and moved to Germany at the age of three. In 2001, I studied at the "Film and Television Academy" in Warsaw before I began my studies at the "Konrad Wolf Film University" in Potsdam/Babelsberg.

I graduated in 2009 after finishing numerous short, documentary and feature films, many of which did well at various international film festivals. (e.g. Berlinale, Karlovy Vary, Camerimage, Sheffield and Hollywood Film Festival)

In 2010, I was nominated for the german national cinematography award (Deutscher Kamerapreis) for "Wüste/Aussen/Tag".

Now based in Berlin, I work as a freelancer, taking on projects from several locations worldwide. In addition to the many films I have shot here in Germany as well as all over Europe, I have experience filming in Asia, Africa and North America.
